new year's update

resolutions are overrated, I prefer to make suggestions...

well, another year, another birthday, another world disaster... am 22 and have found that

a. winnipeg weather sucks
b. skiing rules
c. friends you know from high school get invariably weirder every time you see them (j/k)

anyways, donate to red cross! that's an order! should probably get something going at the office or for engg week... apparently the total disaster relief needed is on the order of 3 billion dollars, and that's not going to all come from the government, realistically. What they really need right now is reconstruction of infrastructure, because nothing can actually get to the people in need ATM.
